1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how PropertyGrowth® ("PropertyGrowth", "we", "us") collects, uses and shares personal information when you use propertygrowth.io and our related services (the "Platform"). We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws.

By using the Platform, you agree to this policy. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Account details: name, email address, phone number, password and account type
• Property details: addresses, listing information, photos and documents you upload or submit for reports
• Inquiries and messages you send us or other users through the Platform
• Payment details, processed by our payment providers (we do not store full card numbers)

Information collected automatically

• Device and browser data: IP address, browser type, operating system and approximate location
• Usage data: pages viewed, searches, clicks, scrolling, mouse movements and time on site
• Cookie and similar identifiers (see section 4)

Information from third parties

• MLS® and listing data from real estate boards such as TRREB and CREA
• Advertising and analytics partners, such as Microsoft and Google

3. How we use your information

• Run the Platform: create and manage accounts, show listings, generate reports and analytics
• Connect you with brokers, experts and other users when you ask us to
• Process payments and send account and service messages
• Improve the site and understand how people use it
• Market our services and measure our ads
• Prevent fraud, protect security and meet legal obligations

We only use personal information for these purposes or others we tell you about and, where required, get your consent for.

4. Cookies, analytics and advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, understand how the site is used and run our advertising.

Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising

We use Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to understand how you use our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay. This data is collected with first- and third-party cookies and similar technologies, and we use it to improve our site, for security, and for advertising. We mask form fields and other sensitive content so it is not captured in session recordings.

Google Analytics and Google Ads

We use Google Analytics to measure site traffic and Google Ads to run and measure our advertising. Google uses cookies such as _ga and _gcl_au to collect this data. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on and manage Google ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work without them. You can opt out of personalized Microsoft ads at account.microsoft.com/privacy/ad-settings.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Real estate boards such as TRREB and CREA, as required under our data agreements
• Brokers, agents and experts you choose to contact or who respond to your listing or inquiry
• Service providers that host, secure, analyze and support the Platform, under contracts that limit their use of your data
• Payment processors, to complete transactions
• Analytics and advertising partners, such as Microsoft and Google (see section 4)
• Legal authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights, users or the public
• A buyer or successor, if PropertyGrowth® is involved in a merger, sale or reorganization

6. Retention, security and storage

Retention

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires. When you close your account, we delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable time, except where we must keep it.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Storage outside Canada

Some of our service providers, including Microsoft and Google, may store or process data outside Canada, such as in the United States. That data may be subject to the laws of those countries.

7. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent to how we use it, by contacting us below. We respond within 30 days. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in each email.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

8. Children

The Platform is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the date above. Significant changes will be announced on the Platform or by email.
